On Tuesday my friend Elliot from across the street came over to play while his big brother and mom and dad were at kindergarten orientation.
Hanging out with Elliot in my room.
On Wednesday, I got a bath.
In my monster towel after a bath this week.
This is a picture from my first bath at home.
On Thursday, well...I think the shirt says it all.
It was an uffda kind of day.
This week I rolled over a few times - Mommy and Daddy were excited about that. And they are a different kind of excited when I try to roll over during a diaper change. I also started playing with my crinkly paper this week - I like the noise it makes and it feels soft on my hands. But Gyro is still my favorite toy right now.
Playing with my crinkly paper toy while Gyro watches.
On Friday I went to the credit union to open a savings account with all the money from the betting pool on when I would be born (thanks Great-grandma Muriel for letting me keep all the loot). The lady at the credit union asked a lot of questions.
"Sorry, ma'am, I don't have a work phone number."
I am now a credit union member! (I am more excited than I appear to be in the picture.)
Saturday was Mom and Dad's second anniversary. We went up to celebrate with Kara and Josh and some other friends and family. Here's me and Mommy on Saturday morning.
Snuggling with Mommy at Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh's house.
Auntie Kara made breakfast for everyone Saturday morning.
"Here Henry, let's try something new to eat...it's an Ebelskiver."
I'm going to stick with formula for now, Auntie Kara.
Saturday people came over to Kara and Josh's house to eat some food, sing some karaoke, and play trivia. We didn't get pictures of everybody because I was sleeping most of the time - even with all the singing from the basement and the shouting from the trivia in the living room. Daddy and cousin Clint won the trivia games.
Me with Mommy and Daddy's friend Joy at the party.
Me with Joy again, and Jenny with her wild balloon costume.
Daddy mixing some drinks for me at the party.
Sitting with Matt as the party was winding down.
Sunday we went to the mall for lunch and did a little shopping.
Shopping with Auntie Kara. She likes to put hats on babies.
There sure is a lot of space in this mall. My little legs are tired.
The number of people who have seen me naked just tripled....
A lot of the people from the party came to have lunch with us the at the mall.
Jenny trying to feed me a waffle at lunch.
Me with Kara and cousin Michael at lunch.
Mom and Dad were both really tired when we stopped at Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house to pick up Duke. They were happy to let Grandma feed me and change my diaper.
Grandma Wynne was happy to see me.
That's all for this now. Next week should be quiet - nothing on the calendar for any of us other than Daddy going to the dentist.
Have a good week everyone!
