The Wedding Party

2012-05-28

This week was mostly uneventful. Mommy and I played in the house, Daddy and I took Duke for some walks, and I wasn't sick. The weekend was more exciting. Friday night we went to stay with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al - and Grandma Gail came over to play with me!

Good morning!

Saturday we went to a wedding for Mommy's cousin Brittany. That was fun. We had a long car ride and there was a storm with lots of rain and lightning, and I saw lots of trucks on the road. We stopped at Ross and Cindy's house and I played with Jacob's toys while we waited for the wedding to start.

I missed most of the wedding because I was being noisy. Daddy and I went outside to walk around so we wouldn't disturb the ceremony.

Daddy and me in the church before we went outside.

The reception was more fun. There was a big room to run around in, lights everywhere, and a dance floor. And I found a walker like Great-grandma Dorothy's to play with.

Dancing with the walker.

Dancing with Daddy.

Telling Jacob a secret.

Tired. Eating some food to get my energy back up.

Liza - put him down so we can play!

Jacob was looking sharp.

Ahhh! We're upside down!

Me with Liza, Jacob, Sydney, Daddy, Lila, and Leticia. Yes, I am pulling Sydney's hair.

Lila and Leticia.

Her smile says, "Cute baby. I don't know what he's doing, but I don't want it on my dress."

Me with Andy, just before we left.

I had lots of fun at the reception. I slept on the way back, so I was ready to play when we made it Grandma and Grandpa's house. Eventually Grandma and Grandpa managed to get me to go to sleep.

Mommy and I slept in on Sunday morning. Then we went to visit Grandma Gail at work and we bought a cartful of food for Michael's graduation party next week. We went home after lunch. Man was it hot out!

At home, I played with Daddy while Mommy was working, and Mommy made us supper. Then Daddy gave me a bath and made my hair look like a mohawk.

My shampoohawk.

Singing in the bathtub....

And that was the week. Take care everyone!

Oh yeah - if you see Grandpa Al on Friday, wish him a happy birthday!
