Mommy's Birthday!

This week was Mommy's birthday week - Happy birthday Mommy!

Friday at school was my class field trip to the county fair. Daddy came with us and we had fun, even though it was hot and the music during our activities was too loud for me. We only got to go on one ride, but it was the Dragon Train roller coaster, so that was fun.

When we got home we had to get ready for our guests - Josh and Freya and Kara and GG were coming over to celebrate Mommy's birthday and spend the weekend. Pelly, Angie, Sawyer, and Kathy were also coming over to go out to supper.

While Mommy went out with GG, Kara, Pelly, Kathy, and Angie, I stayed home with Josh and Freya and Sawyer and Daddy and we all played with LEGO. Even Duke!

Saturday morning we had breakfast and played with my toys and had lots of fun. Grandpa Kevin, Grandpa Al, Grandma Wynne, Great-grandpa Les, and Great-grandma Muriel all came over and we had some lunch and then we went on a boat ride.

We had the boat mostly to ourselves - there were only four other people on the ride. We had a lot of fun. We got up close to the bridge construction and we saw the dam and some eagles. And we took a lot of pictures.

After the boat ride we all went back to the house for some desserts that Mommy made, and I helped open some cards and presents.

After desserts, Mommy, Freya, GG, Josh, and Kara all went to a concert on campus. I stayed home with Daddy because I wasn't feeling well.

Before everybody got back from the concert, I was sick. Daddy had it mostly cleaned up when they returned. I felt a little better - but we all had a rough night and I was sick again.

Sunday we took it easy at home after all the excitement. I felt better, but not great.
