This week we had some really cold weather. You can't really take a picture of the cold, but Daddy got a good shot of the sunrise while we were waiting for the bus in -16 degrees.
It looks like the baseball field down the street is on fire!
Saturday we did our last Farmer's Market with Tiny Spoons.
If you haven't heard the story already, here's the short version: Mommy and Kara were too successful. The business is too big to be run from home kitchens and too big for the cottage laws. Mommy tried to get a loan to expand to a commercial kitchen, but we have no collateral - so the banks won't lend us any money. We are going to try doing some crowdfunding, so be on the look out for an announcement about that. Unfortunately with the limits placed on the business by the cottage laws, there is no good way forward other than a commercial space or shutting down.
Saturday afternoon Dad and I went to Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's to deliver some of the leftovers from the Farmer's Market and visit with Uncle Todd, who rode the train all the way from Oregon.
Me, Grandma, Grandpa, and Loki.
Me and Uncle Todd.
Sunday we stayed home, except for getting some groceries. We played Settlers of Catan and read some books and watched cartoons.
And that was my week. Take care!
