Bob!

2022-10-16

This week Recess was a little different. Tuesday and Wednesday were normal, but it was cold and windy on Thursday and only one other kid was there. We kicked a soccer ball around for a while, but left early to get warm.

Recess - another beautiful day!

Playing soccer.

A cloudy day - cold, too.

The big news this week was Bob came to stay at our house! Grandpa Al had a rebound from his medicine for COVID, so Bob came to stay with us instead of Grandma and Grandpa. We got to visit and I showed him all my school stuff and all my LEGO. Mom made a big supper and the next morning she made waffles and fresh whipped cream!

Me and Bob at supper.

Waffles, whipped cream, and strawberries!

Me, Bob, and Dad.

Dad went with Bob to the phone store to get Bob's new phone fixed (he ran over the old one with a tractor). The he dropped some stuff off at Grandma and Grandpa's - he did not go inside. I am still jealous he got to see them.

Grandma Wynne, Grandpa Al, and Loki.

Dad also went shopping and bought some stroopwafels. Mom says they don't taste as good as hers (she's right), so she is going to make some again in a week or two.

Stroopwafel!

My new winter ninja mask.

Saturday we went looking at Target and Walmart for a LEGO set I wanted, but neither place had it. And now I have decided I want to save my money for something different. Later in the day Dad and I went for a walk and we stopped at Jim's house to see Orry and made a new puppy friend, Key.

Me and Orry.

This good boy is named Key.

Saturday night I discovered the new season of Ninjago was out, so we had to watch it.

Sunday I watched a lot of videos about the Napoleonic Wars and and one about the Han Dynasty of China (the one with the terra cotta warriors). My friend Anthony was supposed to come over, but that was canceled at the last minute, so Dad and I played Skywalker Saga for a while before we finished Ninjago (the episodes are only 10 minutes long).

And that was my week. Until next time, take care!
