Going Home

2020-03-14

Since our plans for baseball and other activities were wrecked by everything closing due to the corona virus, and because we wanted to get ahead of any travel restrictions, we decided to leave a day early and head straight home.

Saturday morning we got up, packed the car and said goodbye to Bob.

Mommy and Bob.

Me and Bob.

And then we drove...and drove...and drove. We did three full days in the car to get home. Traffic got lighter as we went north, which was nice for Daddy.

Stretching out after a day in the back seat.

We made it home late Monday afternoon. It was good to see the familiar sights. And to get out of the car and not have to get back in it the next day.

And that was our vacation. I would say that now life can get back to normal, but.... My school is closed for who knows how long - probably the rest of the school year. Daddy is working from home because his work is closed, too. And Mommy and Kara canceled the Kickstarter for Tiny Spoons because there is just no way to make that work with the way the world is right now.

For the next two weeks we are in quarrantine, since we were traveling through so many places where the virus had spread. I'm guessing there won't be a lot of pictures coming up.

Wherever you are and whomever you're with - take care! And don't forget to wash your hands like a doctor and cover your cough.
