This week we had school as usual. Jonathan came over on Friday, and Anthony came over on Saturday - but we didn't get any pictures of those visits.
I had an orthodontist appointment this week, so we took some cinnamon rolls to deliver to my grandparents.

The frittata was excellent, and we ate it with the focaccia and some roasted potatoes - which were also awesome.
Mom got one puzzle done this week.
We stayed home on the weekend and moved snow. Not a lot of snow, but some. Mom made the veggie/pesto/mozzarella sandwiches again, this time with the homemade focaccia and they were sooooo good!
This week I finished my paper on All Quiet on the Western Front. I also finished reading Lord of the Flies. I wasn't so sure about it at the beginning, but in the end I really liked the book. I am already working on the paper for it. And Dad and I started listening to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - which is hilarious!
For documentary viewing, we finished The American Revolution on Monday. We all really enjoyed it. On Thursday we watched The Social Dilemma, a documentary about social media, which was really eye-opening - if you use any social media, you should watch it. We also watched some more food shows: Anthony Bourdain in Malaysia and Andrew Zimmern on the Gulf Coast.
For films, we watched Eighth Grade, which was really good but also hard to watch. Makes me glad I didn't have to go to middle school. Saturday night we watched the 2022 version of All Quiet on the Western Front. If you somehow think war is a good idea, you should watch the movie - it will change your mind. The film was really gory and dark and did not have anything like a happy ending. The film version of the story changed a lot of things from the book, mostly by compressing the time frame of the story into the last days of the war.
To finish up Sunday, we watched some Battlestar Galactica.
And that was my week - take care!
